It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region) composed of the most typical Portuguese grape varieties from this area. A soil composition, with granite and clay, different from our other Vila Nova de Tazem vineyards with granite, makes this wine a little more fruity, dense and textured, without losing its freshness and minerality. A Dão that reflects its origins.
