Quinta do Portal
Quinta do Portal Tinta Barroca Red 2020, 75cl
This is our interpretation of a variety usually destined for Port wines or blended Douros.
Normally it produces wines that are not very complex, and are only useful for blending. It is rarely bottled alone as it does not have the structure to withstand bottle ageing. It reveals an intense fruitiness reminiscent of so many moments of the Harvest...
In the mouth, it excels in harmony. Very round, voluminous tannins and a well-marked, fresh and powerful aftertaste. A fantastic red, capable of breaking down prejudices.
