A highly complex and rich aroma, with nuances of cedar, dry tobacco leaves, coffee, and a hint of iodine, so characteristic of aged Port wines. On the palate, it is a wine with great complexity, concentration, and mouthfeel, yet with an acidity that balances and complements. It has notes of wood and spices, and some roasted notes. The finish is very fresh and endless.
