Wood ageing is reflected in delicate almond and marzipan notes. In the background, an appealing smoky element is subtly perceptible. Intense red fruit flavours, complemented by cask ageing but full of freshness and vitality, combined with underlying citric acidity, give the wine balance and elegance. Long and pleasant finish, with a subtle combination of nuts, tea and tobacco.
