Rita Marques and Marc Kent created Companhia de Vinhos Invencível in 2020. The two winemakers, who had already collaborated in South Africa in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and in Portugal in 2018 and 2019, are now making a greater commitment by acquiring a Quinta in Casais do Douro. This is their first joint property and the birthplace of the brand. It is also where two wines, a white and a red called “Invincible número dois”, were created – the label design represents the struggle between Adamastor and the Portuguese sailors during the Age of Discovery.
