Anselmo Mendes and Mário Sérgio Nuno are two unavoidable references among Portuguese wines. In their regions of origin, Monção, Melgaço and Bairrada, they create genuine wines that express the territory where they were born.

These affinities led one day to a natural question: why not make a wine together, from the varieties we like the most? So, in the 2020 harvest, they each decided to choose a special plot, representative of the best that the region can produce, in their vineyards, and vinify it separately in their wineries. Anselmo Mendes selected Alvarinho from Parcela do Paço, at Quinta da Torre, in Monção. Mário Sérgio harvested Bical grapes from Vinha do Cabeço, at Quinta das Bágeiras.
