Coming from selected plots of century-old vineyards at Quinta das Carvalhas, Carvalhas is the ex-libris of Real Companhia Velha wines.

The result is a great wine that not only expresses the uniqueness of the farm and the exposure of the vineyards to the north, but also tells a little of the history of the Douro due to the enormous diversity of grape varieties present in the plots of old vineyards.

Carvalhas Red takes concentration and depth from these vineyards, and from sun exposure, freshness and balance. A wine with enormous bottle aging potential for the coming decades.
