The 2011 Barca Velha is a wine with a deep and lively ruby colour.
Its complex aroma highlights spices, such as pepper, balsamic notes such as cedar and tobacco box.
This range is perfectly combined with notes of red fruits and high quality wood, proving to be well integrated.
In the mouth, it shows vibrant acidity, very firm tannins, notes of spices, black fruit and balsamic flavours.
The ending is what its predecessors have always accustomed us to, extremely long, of great elegance and complexity.
