Coliseu is a family project that works with its own vineyards on tiny plots in the Baixo Corgo region of the Douro Valley, with the utmost respect for identity and terroir, ensuring that the wines are the best expression of their old vines. The young and vibrant winemaker Hugo Línton's philosophy is "the more we do in the vineyard, the less we have to do in the cellar," and this is how he expresses the identity of his terroir in each bottle of his minuscule production. The identity of the Douro is interpreted here intellectually, with immense character, freshness, and the typical pungent minerality of its best estates.
