This wine is produced from the Malvasia grape variety, a typical grape from the region that allows it to bear the D.O.C. Colares designation. The vineyard has the particularity of being planted in soils traditionally known as "sandy soil". The climate is very specific due to the proximity of the sea and the Sintra mountains. The wine expresses all this climatic and soil specificity of the region.
