The oldest vineyard at Herdade do Rocim has always been affectionately called “Olho de Mocho”, as it is abundant in this spontaneous flower, with the scientific name Tolpis barbata . Because it was special, it could only produce a unique and authentic wine that we now call “Olho de Mocho Single Vineyard”.
Deep and concentrated ruby colour. Very ripe black fruit. Notes of tobacco, spices and mint. Elegant and structured mouth. Firm tannins, austerity and freshness. Long and persistent finish.
