It is a remarkably fresh Douro red. A world apart from some of the region's full-bodied, rich and robust styles. It displays crisp red cherry, juicy black cherry, currant, wild berries and light oak. Fine, firm tannins, smoky minerality, good texture, very interesting as a whole. A charming intensity in a different wine, in a good way.
