Dark red wine, with an almost opaque center. Nose dominated by the fruity component, essentially based on ripe black fruits.

It is also possible to discover floral suggestions from crushed violet petals. The underwood notes stand out, with allusions to the aromas of tree bark, in parallel with aromas of dark chocolate.

The prolonged aging in high quality barrels did not mask the wine.

In the mouth, the structure is enormous, supported by very present tannins, which enhance a long tasting persistence and considerable aging capacity.

Prior opening and decanting is recommended, 1-2 hours in advance.
