Initially a little closed, with a fleshy hint of dense dark fruit, slowly opening to reveal a delightful perfume with floral notes and cherry skin, a touch of orange marmalade and even a hint of mineral freshness. It has a fantastic finish, with minerality and dry, chalky tannins, combined with the concentration and purity of dark fruit. A wine that needs a lot of time, but also has fantastic structure and refinement.
