Terroir Series is a new range launched by Quinta do Noval, an opportunity to explore specific terroirs, identified as exceptional.

PASSADOURO VINEYARDS
Vinhas do Passadouro, from Quinta do Noval, comes from an exceptional terroir on the left bank of the Pinhão river. The vineyards are planted mainly on old terraces, in the center of which there is a plot of 0.93 hectares of old vines. These vineyards that date back to 1930 are a field blend with more than 20 different traditional grape varieties, from which we vinified and isolated a restricted but excellent amount of wine. Vinhas do Passadouro 2020 is the first release.
The soil of this plot of ancient vineyards is mainly schist, with a high mineral content, which includes quartz, mica and different types of feldspar, contributing to the unique and characteristic aromas that can be found in this wine.
