Aeternus is a tribute to an eternal work, to a man who loved the land, his family, and his work.

Américo Amorim was a man with a rare and unique business intuition, who began his professional career at 18 in his family's cork company and never stopped fighting for his ideals, elevating the cork sector to world leadership, creating over six decades a business group with a grand status in Portugal and the World.

Like the figure that inspires it, Aeternus is a rare wine due to its history. It originates in the best vineyard planted on the terraces of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, a century-old vineyard of 2.5 hectares, producing 0.4 kg per plant, with a south-west sun exposure and a planting density of about 6000 plants per hectare.

There are eternal wines. They are wines that tell us stories and make us stop in time. Vine by vine, we read our world, the wrinkles of the old, very old vineyard, guardians of dreams, enchantments, promises, a living diary of wisdom and resilience, preserving the history of each harvest.
