Aeternus is a tribute to an eternal work, to a man who loved the land, his family, his work.

Américo Amorim was a man with a rare and unique intuition for business, who began his professional career at the age of 18 in the family cork company and never stopped fighting for his ideals, elevating the cork sector to world leadership, creating throughout a business group with a great status in Portugal and in the world for six decades.

Like the figure that inspires it, Aeternus is a rare wine due to its history. It is born in the best vineyard planted on the terraces of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, a century-old vineyard of 2.5 hectares, producing 0.4 kg per plant, with sun exposure to the south-west and a planting density of around 6000 plants per hectare.

There are eternal wines. These are wines that tell us stories and make us stop in time. Vine by vine we read our world, the wrinkles of the old, very old vine, keepers of dreams, charms, promises, a living diary of wisdom and resilience keeping the story of each harvest.
