That's why he decided to create the Sidecar brand .
Every year he challenges a friend to make a wine in his cellar, in Alentejo.
They will be the ones to decide how to interpret the fantastic vineyards of this region... driving the motorbike!
For this edition he invited Ricardo Diogo , producer and winemaker of the prestigious Madeira Barbeito wines.
This wine was made with Alicante Bouschet from an old vineyard in Serra de São Mamede with very low production, we mixed two harvests and the aging was carried out in old barrels brought expressly from Italy, the wine
shows all the strengths of the variety, with powerful body and structure,
but also with an unusual elegance and velvety, a consequence of the prolonged aging in barrels.
