A reserve of old vines, created from the emblematic grape varieties of the Douro: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca and many others planted together on ancient terraces along the Douro river in the heart of Sub- Cima-Corgo region. The soils are shale and poor. The old vines chosen are from various altitudes and have multiple exposures, meaning that the grapes ripen well and regularly, thus producing a great concentration of aromas and flavors without the wine losing its freshness.
