Wine from a single plot of Dão planted in the old fashioned way with a mixture of white and red grape varieties. At an altitude of 600 meters, this 55-year-old vineyard is planted on poor granite soils. The main grape varieties are Jaen, Baga, Alfrocheiro, Tinto-Cão and Tinta Pinheira. Indigenous yeasts and fermentation in a vat with a 30-day cuvaison make this wine a distinct wine, with delicate aromas, striking minerality and very fine tannins. It is elegant, intense and pure.
