Vallado Lady Baga Red 2021, 75cl
The grapes are 100% from a north-facing vineyard at Quinta do Orgal in Douro Superior, with certified organic vinification. In order to obtain a smooth extraction, 20% of the grapes used were whole bunches (not de-stemmed) and the remaining 80% were not crushed (whole berries).
After cold maceration for 24 hours, the grapes fermented for a week with very little extraction.
In aroma, very smooth and round, with a flavor of wild fruits. The finish is very fresh with a slight vegetal touch.
In the mouth a very complex wine, where wild fruits and forest aromas predominate with a toasted touch from the wood where it aged.
